Crops Product Range

Crops provide a high amount of home grown feed for stock when pasture growth is poor. Summer crops such as chicory, rape and turnips are used in in areas with hot, dry summers particularly through the North Island and the East Coast. Winter crops such as kale, fodder beet and rape are grown in areas with colder winters, particularly at high altitudes or through the South Island.
